I RECEIVED AN E-MAIL FROM A GUY THAT HAS A USED CNC MACHINE HE WOULD SELL ME, IT WOULD BE IN THE $2500 RANGE .. HE STATES THAT A COMPRATABLE MACHINE ( ALTHOUGH A 4'X4' ) RUNS IN THE $10,000 UP RANGE .. Would you TAKE A LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING INFO HE SENT ME ... and give me your opinion?

The following is his email to me ..........

I have a 2' x 4' CNC table that I haven't used since getting a 4' x 8' table.
I planned to set it up as a back-up, but after three years it's still sitting.

It was used for 2-3 years to cut out acrylic and foam logos and lettering
in a home business. I haven't put a value on it yet, but here are the specs
to see if you're interested.

It has a 1.5 HP Perske Spindle and came with Solustan software controller,
which is still loaded on a dedicated Windows 98 computer. I'm sure there
are better interfaces available now. It also came with a copy of BobCad,
but I never used it.

It has a very heavy steel frame and weighs about the same as a small
piano.

The carriage was removed to allow for transport, and needs to be remounted.

The table surface was 1" thick HDPE, but I removed it and used MDF instead.

220 Volt single phase. It was built by Machine Automations in CO, which
is no longer in business.

I AM WANTING TO PURCHASE A USED CNC AND PLASMA MACHINE .. ANY IDEAS ??

Thanks, Jess in Mid Mo.
