    Water table question

Still collecting ideas for my table design. I wanted to have both plasma and O/A but was wondering if you can use O/A with a water table. You would have to at least lower the water level farther from the sheet so as not to splash up and cool the sheet. Would that work or do I need to stay with closing in the bottom of the table and using a vacuum and filter.

I would think water level a few inches low would work ok or table drained all together. O/A doesn't smoke all that bad anyway. You could probably experiment a bit using a cheap cake pan with some water in it & use a hand torch above that. Try 2" above, if you still get to much splash try 3 etc. Should give you some kind of idea how well it would work.
    If it works.....Don't fix it!

Thanks, I like the experiment idea. Most use would be plasma but I should be able to get the O/A to work also. Like you say if all else fails drain all the water.
