    What Coolant For Taig

I finally got some aluminum cut on my Taig 2019 but going with on 0.02" passes and spraying some WD-40 on in intervals. I don't have all the fancy coolant sprayers and recyclers etc. What kind of coolant can I use in a spray bottle? I don't think I want to by spending all my money on cans of WD-40 do I?

Alcohol, paraffin and lately someone was mentioned old hand lotion.

Well since your not using a mist or flood system, all you really need to use is something that will lubricate the cutter. You can get cutting oil pretty cheap, if its to thick for your spay bottle, try a water soluble cutting oil.

I read somewhere about guys getting 5 gallon buckets of cutting fluid at their local "whatever" store. I'll probably just do that and put it in a sprayer can of some kind.

Any industrial supply near you should have a few different options in stock. 5 gallons of concentrate will make over 100 gallons of coolant for an aluminum mix. lol might be overkill for your little machine, a gallon should suffice.
