Lightbulb What a good candidate for conversion!

    Guys:

I was flipping through a trade magazine the other day and happened upon the Evans Machine overarm router. It is used for cutting countertop cutouts, etc, but my first thought was why isn't this thing CNC! The construction looks ideal for CNC. Working area is 48 x 30 but is flow-through from left to right. I contacted the manufacturer and the price for the unit that uses a standard 3 HP router is $8349. Too bad there are not any on the used market!

Let the chips fall where they may...I'm not going to clean them up!
