Supposing you want to work in an apartment, and you're not concerned about cost, power, etc... but do want to cut some foam to get used to your machine and the software... what is the most quiet cutting motor that you know of? Small or expensive is fine. A router makes a bit of noise, a dremel a bit less, is there something smaller that even more quiet?
Also, is there a reason that there aren't small servo-type motors used on CNC machines? I've seen them used on merrow machines in stead of electric motors to reduce noise, is there a reason no one uses them on CNC machines that are used in classrooms or apartments?
Thanks!
