What size boring head should I buy?

I'm a newbie that just bought a syil Super X3 and am in the proccess of rounding up the basic tooling from a list I made but don't know what size boring head I should buy. The options I have seen are 2", 2.5", 3" an 4". Is there is a size that is optimal for the mill I purchased? Also the mill has a high speed pully installed so the original torque of the motor has been decreased by 50%. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Get the smallest, 2". I have tried a 4" Criterion on my 9x42 knee mill (weighs about 6 times as much as your X3), and it was too big. R8 tapers really don't like big, heavy tools.

Well it is too late, I just bought a 3" boring head as I thought the 3/4" shank would be more rigid so I will have to make it work for me. Thanks anyway.
