    Where to buy THK slides

Except for ebay, does anyone know where to buy THK slides at the lowest possible cost. I already know about http://www.technico.com/ which sells THK stuff at lower cost. But, where can I buy at even lower cost?

What about different brands, like Misumi or IKO, or HiWinn?

I am looking for rails that fit the SSR25 bearings and need 80 inches per rail.

I previously looked at HiWin and determined that their prices is about the same or higher than www.technico.com. I bought some HSR/SSR25 bearings from ebay and need to get the rails. Long THK rails are hard to come by at ebay. When I see brand new rails on ebay, they are often more expensive than at technico.com.

I know that 80" is longer than anything he has , the longest I 've seen there for rails was about 3' you might have to bite the bullet yet on this one , just depends how much time you have to look. Sorry I couldn't help

my understanding is that these can be run end to end if you find a pair of shorter rails. Never done it myself, so take it for what it's worth.

You find the best deals when you least expect it or in the least likely places. Over the summer I picked up 2- 80" THK HSR 20 rails and 4- matching trucks with a crate full of servo motors and other junk for $100. The place was a metal supply and had other oddball stuff. Found another deal today, 5- 60,000 uF 100 volt electrolytic capacitors for $15. Was in the right place at the right time.
If it's not nailed down, it's mine.
If I can pry it loose, it's not nailed down.

    Isoprenia,

Do they have enough hsr20 bearings to share. I'm looking for 4 trucks. Just missed some on ebay, but price was nearly equal to buying bearings with rails.

    Thanks
    Maynard
