automation direct is supposed to be introducing new servomotors. And the robot builders should have something http://www.robotmarketplace.com/marketplace_motors.html has motors, but I don't see anywhere to mount encoders. Bummer. There used to be a place that sold baldor servos that weren't badly priced. There are others, it's tough to find prices.

If you don't want to go on ebay or try to get lucky with surplus, you must have a checking account that needs to be emptied. It shouldn't suprise you to spend $500 per motor. And that's cheap, cheap, cheap.

The IMService motors look like a pretty good deal, but you should check to make sure they will meet your needs. They are pretty small.

I sell various servo motors all of which have encoders that are compatible with the Gecko G320 and G340 drives. See my web site at www.camtronics-cnc.com
