Does anyone know where I could find a shell mill / face mill arbor for my taig?
Or does everyone just stick with using a fly cutter for surface finish?
Thanks,
Frank

There was one once But when I found it the link didn't work any longer.

DeArmond Tool http://www.positiveflow.com/taigacc.htm has had one in the past though I don't see them listed there anymore.
You might call or email them to see if they still carry them or can point you to their source.
No one knows anyone that carries a face/shell mill for the Taig? Can anyone point out a shell mill of Taig size, that would work if I had to make an adapter?
I really need one of these. I need to surface large blocks of steel, aluminum, and 360 brass. Can anyone think of something I could use???
I believe that if you were to make an adapter you could use one of these shell mills: Enco Shell Mill
Taig er16 1/2" end mill holder
+
Shars 1/2" shank shell mill arbor

or

or
anything on ebay/etc. that uses the same 3/4" mounting method.
Don't know how long this ends up being. You could cut the arbor, or combine the first two items and make them yourself I suppose.
