I found the same controller in the basement at work the other day, and since then I found out quite alot about it. So if you still have questions (I know that it's been a while since you asked) maybe I can help you.
To get it started you can simply send commands from the hyper terminal. It can be alittle bit tricky to understand the protocol, but maybe I can help you there.

On a auction I got recently I got a controller with the same driver stage but slightly different Interface.
According to my Isel dealer it is a CN10 (first generation).
Is this thread dead, for I would like some info...i have a box like the one in the first post, besides the controller card witch is different...
On the case it's label is "CNC Controller C10"...but the controllercard is with a 25 pol. d-sub male, with the letters beside "signal input"

It looks for me this is controller which has the 25pin RS-232 connector instead of a 9pin connector.
There should be a 8032 CPU on it and 3 DIP-switches near the bus connector.
