Will Jog but not Move Correctly in G code

Ok so this is kind of weird to me. May machine witch is an open loop machine will Jog .1 when asked but if I so give it a G0 G90 G54 F10. Y1. and I am currently at G54’s Y zero, well it will only move and display on my PC a movement of .8596. Then if I try to send it back to Y0, it falls short again. So it is apparent that I am missing some steps but how is it on a open loop control, I could be reading it on the PC screen as well?

What if just MDI a G0 Y1, does the DRO say 1 then?

Do you have axis scaling on by chance?

No, thats what I dont get, it move and will display .8596? Where is the axis scaling? Wouldent it display 1.000 if I requested 1.000? The machine will just get lost if it never gets to where it is suposed to be.

The scaling DRO is right next to the axis DRO, it usually has 1.000 in it. You must have some settings wrong, I've never heard of Mach not moving what you tell it to.
