    Wiring Help

Shown here is a wiring diagram of my drives and power supply. I'm confused on how to wire the drivers from the breakout board. Do I use the 5 volts ( switchable for com to 5 volts)from the C1 board to the Step+ and Dir+ or use the tap off the power supply? Do I then hook up my Step and Dir terminals from the BOB to the Step- and Dir- on the driver board? I can use all the help I can get. Wiring is not my thing!

The step and direction signals should connect from your BOB to the drives. If you have an external 5VDC power supply, you can power your BOB from that.

    What drives are you using?

Consistency is a good thing....unless you're consistently an idiot.

Drivers from Automation Direct. This thread should have been in the Stepper motors and Drivers section.
