    wooden natilus shell

    Has anyone cut a section view of a Nautilus shell with a cnc mill.

    I haven't, but I have messed with some similar objects. 3D-XplorMath is a free math equation graphing software which can export .obj models. Cut3D is the only program I have been able to load the models into for cutting. The problem I have is that no other program opens the .obj files, there seems to be something weird about the formatting. So, I can't edit the models, section them, or modify them in anyway.
