Hello, I will soon start programing Mazak Variaxis (Mazatrol Matrix) and I have my doubts as to the function WPCSHIFT.Is programmed as in the first drawing (for example in the Heidenhain controllers) or what the second drawing?
I was also surprised that there is no function 'WPC SHIFT' for Mazak HCN 4-axis.

Please contact your mazak distributor to know WPC shift on VRX
and you can request WPC shift on HCN -4 axis to them

The key to use WPCSHIFT in Variaxis is always use the same number on A and C from INDEX unit so it easy to find X,Y,Z values.
The sample in Mazak manual has wrong number at unit 4 or 5.
If you use Griffo Brothers Camlink software..It will find that numbers for you. You never have to worry about that numbers and they will create the INDEX and WPCSHIFT for you. You can pick any machining face without worry to find the INDEX C,A Values...and WPCSHIFT X,Y,Z, C,A,Rot Values.
On Mazak sample..the part is simple, its easy to find those numbers.
In real world..parts are more complex almost impossible to find those numbers, using software is the only solution.
