My company owns a CNC which has a 4-axis setup (X/A, Y, Z) and contains a Rockcliff Motor 4 Axis Driver Board (RCF00108). It has been working very well for us until right before Christmas, when it went down.
Our computer uses the Mach3 software to control the CNC. Currently the spindle works, but everything else does not. When I use the manual controls on Mach3 (Left-Right for X/A, Up-Down for Y, PageUp-PageDown for Z, F5 for spindle), everything is unresponsive except for the spindle.
I was wondering if any more experienced CNC users/problem solvers on this board had any ideas on how to revive our CNC again.
I am in contact with Rockcliff. So far, they have asked whether or not the green light on the board is on. I definitely do not see a light on when I look at the board. However, I do not see an unlit light bulb anywhere either. I am not sure if our board has a green light or not. I am certain that there are users out there who are also using a CNC with this board. Please let me know if there is a light and where on the board is it located?
Thank you for your time and attention.
