    Hello mactec54,
it is a single axes board. Encoder feedback is done via RS-422 receiver IC and can also be jumpered to TTL(0-5V) compatible encoder signals.

    Question communication problem-please help

If i send hex code from Glaister ,with this sheme serial com. works ! But with hex code from MaxMod version V1 it doesn't (: . I have tried diferent baud rates , 9800 and 57600 , but no luck. Where is a problem?

    Hello,
well I think when you connect pin 11 and 12 to a max232 -> pc it should work.
The baud-rate is 57600. And use 5V as supply voltage.

    Bye

    space vector pwm

A.A, this board has no power stage, it is specially designed to control those analog input industrial drivers.
But I have another project, YAPSC:V2, wich will include power stage.
    sir,
you have made a wonderful creation for all the DIYs who want to make their own CNC at an affordable price. But the thing is that servo amplifiers are expensive and the DIGIFAS amplifier costs about a 1000 USD. This actually limits the use of the YAPSC:10V TO be used on a commercial basis. so just to find an alternative for the amplifier i did a lot of search for finding a device that outputs A SPACE VECTOR PWM TO DRIVE SERVO MOTORS.
i've seen a motion control IC - IRMCK203 by international rectifier. this motion control IC is specifically designed to control 3 PHASE AC MOTORS by providing space vector pwm. can this IC be interfaced with your servo controller YAPSC:10V. Cause it has a analog input for speed reference. and after viewing the full datasheet i found that it was purely made for controlling AC servo motors for cnc applications. it has a 3 phase pwm output to control gate drives for IGBTs. this means that it could be used as a power stage for AC servo motors.. SO IS IT POSSIBLE. HERE IS THE DATASHEET --- http://www.irf.ru/pdf/irmck203.pdf . Another IC which is similar to IRMCK203 is IRMCK201. and there is a post about this here:- http://www.cnczone.com/forums/servo_...rmck201-8.html

    any one there?
i think i have different version of YAPSC from Alex.

i got it 3 years ago and couldnt set it up correct. it was working once but after a while it has benn stopped??? alex told me that it might be caused from flushhed pic in somehow. so i think i need to reload pic. can any one guide me how to it? should i have to create that usb programmer and install the firmware inside? is it that?

looking for help. i have spent quite good amount for electronics and i stuck.
you can see the entry about my problem via Need Help! Old card doesnt dance MESA MSP 0307 - Page 3 - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

    thanks to all...

Is the problem with all the YAPSC?

Would be very strange that all failed at the same time?

Can you describe the problem in more detail?
    Which led's are on?
    No response at all?

    hi lucas,
i dont know what was my problem actually. we have investigated it with the builder of 3 board to connect all boards together. we checked several problems to understand what is the problem on the boards. and after that we realised that the problem is caused form the pıc memory. it should be erased in somehow probably because of electrical issues. i might unplug calbes when the power is on etc. so on i havent got any feedback from the board builder guy he promised and didnt send me the usb coder thing. so it seems my boards are exactly yapsc and they have a board to connect 3 of the mtogether. so ı tihnk if i get or build the usb programmer i will have chance to run my stuff again.

    any suggestions?

Do you have the interface for tuning the PID parameters?

You should have this or you can't setup the YAPSC.
    Wich one do you have?
I memory serves me well: it's the same for programming the chip.

Wrong connection and PID not set properly, YAPSC work width quadrature encoder and step-dir command from LPT port of PC.

I am change YAPSC program in DSPIC4012 to drive UHU type H bridge(DC servo) and that work OK, look on link

i have nothing except mach3 interface?
    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4nEJmyWLLw]MAVILOR SERVO BT059 - YouTube[/ame]
as you can see on the video it was working before without setting up anything speciaL? i connected it to the lpt port and setup over mach3 done? but after a while with unplugging etc i am not sure what happened i lost total connection? so any one can tell me that i could re-load whole memory with small usb programmer i will try to build it and try with that? it should work. because the guy who sold the board to he told me that we will send a programmer. so i gues it is this one?

No it is not working on yours video, led just blink error.

    From pdf guide:

    -----------------------------------------------------
For configuring YAPSC:10V via a serial port terminal (I.e hyperterminal on Windows) or via YTT.
Pin 6 (RXD) : data in
Pin 5 (TXD) : data out
    Port configuration : 9600bps, 8n, 1stop, no flow control.
    --------------------------------------------------------

Do you have user guide for configuring yapsc, or windows software(YYT) for that?

really? but all the motors were turning regarding the gcode?
so what i have to do than? i dont have any guide? also i have to re-code the memories i guess? ias i told several times i couldnt control them since 1-2 years ;(

I have some YAPSC:10V file, send me on PM yours email address and I will pass file to you.
Do you connected encoder from motor to yapsc card?
Your motors mast have hall and encoder output, if encoder output not existent nothing of working PID(yaspc card) in closed loop.
In youtube clip you connected MCLR from yapsc card to somewhere , they must be disconnected if working.

To connector ,red circle on picture, need conect PC via USB card(FT232) or serial card (max232), through hyperterminal on Windows, after that you can check is everything OK in yaspc card.

USB card o serial card you can build, in yaspc:10V( MaxMod are author) file you can found all (gerber files, or complete project in kicad software).

Abridge P4 can do max 25KHz on LPT port 25000/500 impulse from encoder =3000 rpm max on motor shaft , if dspic set 1step from PC to 1 impulse from encoder, in original software dspic can do multiplication, motor faster turning but lees precision.
