You have to go to the MDI tab i beleive and in th "input" section type G0Z0.1
    or whatever and hit enter.

I got tired of switching screens so I used the Mach3 screen editor and added a small input box on the main screen.

Do you want it to actually move, or just change the value?
If you just want to change the value, just type in the value and hit "enter".

    z axis

I actually wanted to move the axis by entering a negative value ,it's when I want to do a dry run after I have set z=0, Icahn raise the z axis but. cannot return it by an entry on the screen ,mind you I can from the keyboard ,I was hoping I could just record the value ,type it in and the z would return to the per set spot

No, you'd need to use MDI, or add a custom DRO and Button with a macro to move it automatically.
