    All in one computer/controller

Is there any reason that you couldn't, or shouldn't, put everything in one case? I mean the computer, power supplies, drives, bob, everything.

I am pretty sure you would have to isolate power and grounds, but what other considerations would there be?

Is there any problem with rf among the components and power supplies?

It would be nice to have one box and a single cable going to the router.

    Thanks for any help.

This was my first build. It worked great with no issues.

You can do these a lot of different ways. Now with the small form factor computers though, it might be a better idea to keep them separate. I now have Gecko's and a larger PS in this big box, but the motherboard has since bit the dust. Still installed. I just use another computer.
My equipment is now in a separate tool box. This is now in the mill.

My router now uses a laptop and the controls for it are in a tool box. Everything installed on the top tray. My PS for it is a lab supply.

Lots of different ways to accomplish this. Single box is perhaps the cleaner, but may have the most areas where RF issues could occur. If you do all your wiring correctly though, you should have no issues.
