Gday folks!

Still going strong building my CNC router from MDF. I just finished my Y-Z axle slide system for trial and it works fine.

I desided to rebuild the whole machine when it's finished using the CNC router so it can drill and cut itself perfectly!

For the linear slides I bought a bunch of rails and trucks who are working fine.
I've got one rail left so maybe I can make someone happy with it.
It's a heavy duty Rexroth SP series rail, 30mm steel 1240 mm long.

Afraid I cannot use your rechtgeleiding. Looking for rails of 1500mm.
I'm in the scavaging fase for my machine. I've got my servo's, planning to use the servocontroller created by oldi51 on www.cncecke.de .

Workspace X-axis effective 1200mm, Y-Axis 500mm, z-axis 350mm.
At first I'll use the skatebearing type rails but I've designed the machine so that I can upgrade each axis when I stuble upon rails.
No idea yet on the spindles; ballscrews would be nice, trapezoid TR14x4 would be next. Normal metric screws do not have my preference.

i'm going for the same servodrivers, haven't found the proper servomotors yet but allready bought some fine optical encoders.

Do you have a big trafo allready? I've got two so maybe you want to take one over. Please mail if interested....

May be interested in a transformer. What ratings is (VA and V) is it. What's the price?

What's the status of your machine. Got pics allready?

I've got myself a couple of big servo's. I visited a local crap yarp and found myself a total of 6 Dunkermotor Servomotors (1x GR53x30 4x GR63x55 1x Gr80x80) 3 of them allready have 500cpr encoders attached. The other 3 have to be slightly modified to have one attached.

I intend to use 2x GR63x55 for x-axis and y-axis and the GR53x30 for the Z-axis.
The two other GR63x55's will be used to cnc my lathe.

Price? Don't really have a clue. I can't remember how much I paid for it. I guess it was something about 20 or 30 euros......

It's a big one, 12.5 kilo's!

Interesting things your servo's. What did you pay for them, what's the size of them?

If its really 1000VA then I'm game for the transformer. 40V and 4,5A doesn't add up to that though. Maybe its 4,5A on the primary for the fuse. 40V is a little on the high side if I read the item on the PS for Javadog (see this thread) but I believe I can take windings off the secondary winding to lower the output voltage to get me the 40V DC.

About my servo's. I paid a shocking total of E30,- for them. All but the largest are fitted with planetary gearboxes 1:7. The deal included a bunch of bearings (50 dust sealed skate bearing sized roller bearings), shafts, bearing blocks, excentric shafts.

Yeah right...... that''s where you got me.....I don't understand much about electrics so maybe you can help me out there when the time comes!

I've got an other one, 1,25 kVA with 100V, 12.5 A Which I thought of using myself. It was the more expensive one because it's smaller and lighter.

I paid 20 euro for the 1kVA trafo. I found the billing, so feel free to pick it up for the same amount....
