    Bridgeport mill purchase

i just got offered this bridgeport mill, i was wondering what machinist on here think its worth, well what i should not pay more than for it. No, the vise doesnt come with it but everything else does. Its here at my work and i its older, but i know that it has not seen anything heavy work load the 15 years i have been here. Sorry, i dont know how the picture got turned, we will assume human error.

How much is it worth to you? What is the spindle runout? Backlash all the way around? What does the head sound like? Where do you live? (Availability depending on where you are)
Imagine you are want to buy a car, and you ask a friend what it is worth, and all you give them is a picture and say it is old but the last 15 years has been used lightly.

From what you show I say 2500 to 6000 depending on the answer to the questions in the begging of my response.
Here in Minnesota I have seen Bridgeport’s at auction for 800-5500, craigslist 2000-6000, and there are some machine dealers in town that are from 3500-6500.
    Good luck.

(If anything, having a Bridgeport in your garage is convenient, and with love, time and money it can be a great machine )

With working DROs and if the head isn't too noisy, I'd say 2500-3500 range IMO.

yes all three work, the guy said something about a power head or something, i would bet the head is good considering the tight tolerances we have at work. And by those prices, i really got a pretty good deal. Thanks for the input.
