cant get correct 3d toolpath for simple part in bobcad v23

I am new to bobcad v23. I am trying to cut my first 3d part out. Seems like it would be very simple to do but I am trying all options I can think of in Cam tree and sim of the cuts using z-level roughing, z - level finish even slice planar are not even close. Cut is missing both 45 degree angels and looks a mess. Is there something I am missing as it relates to operations? The drawing is attached...

    Smokey911,

I'm not sure of your machine's capability but you'll need to cut this part in 3 operations unless you have a good fixturing strategy and a 4th axis.

Can you send the .bbcd file instead of the .dwg, there are no tool paths included in your attached file.

    Thanks,

You will need to zip up the file first.

Okay the file is attached. As far as the 3 move cut to make the part, I agree. cut 1 on side, cut to on opposite side and cut 3 to cut the slot... That is the last tool path I came up with. I could never get it to cut out the angle or even come close, thanks for looking...

the first thing you need to check is your post
not sure you have the correct one selected
    what control are you using,
if there is not one in your post file go to bc site there should be one

If you mean a post to print the code out below, I have one, it should be selected, if not I definitely have one, for some reason it is just not showing it, sorry. Not sure why it did not come through... It is mach 3...

    Smokey911,

I'm assuming that you are starting with square stock, with three ops on the part. Attached is a modified version of what you had. I didn't do all the tool paths but I think you can see what I did. You may want to make three separate files to avoid confusion (1 per op).

    Hope this helps,

the reason i ask about the post processor was it had an odd
name in the box, but if you know it is for mach 3 then ok,
try smaller step downs in each of your features this will help
in cutting more of the part, and mabe a ballnose cutter in finish

to cut this part correctly, you will need mutiple setups as others have said

    Thanks for helping hkenuam!

Looks good in the preview window but I can't open it, I get the version error message. The message pic is attached... Can you save it in version 23? That is the version I have. I guess my version is kind of dated.... Thanks........
