    Draft Angles holding

I have a part I machined with a lot of features on the inside. It is 5 inches square with 2 degree draft angles all around the outside. I did the first side now I need to flip it over and bring it to the right thickness. It is thin walled ABS plastic. Thickness will be .070. How do I hol it in the vise

Get some aluminum or plastic soft jaws and mill a custom pocket.

    Re: Draft Angles holding

Not sure exactly what your part looks like?, but with tapered sides is very difficult to hold the part, and be able to surface the entire face,

If the part is sealed, Vacuum hold down is one option, ( do able since it's only plastic your cutting ) ?

Another option is to clamp it, machine half, then move the clamp to machine the rest ?

Spray the inside with Vaseline diluted in alcohol or paint thinner (don't use acetone!) (carnuba or beeswax also works for a release) - Fill the inside with bondo. Flip and machine then flex the part to pop the bondo out. Otherwise maybe double back tape. The cloth reinforced carpet tape by duck brand works well. I used to machine a ton of plastic wall section parts, not so much anymore.
If at first you don't succede destroy all evidence that you tried!
