    Fanuc 10m DNC

I have a fanuc 10m that I can not DNC,talked too a few people about it and they say that the PLC latter has to be changed and a new switch installed on the controller for it to run in auto.
There is no position on the switch for the tape mode.

    Any help

If you want to do true DNC (execute part program as it is being transferred via RS-232) then that is the ONLY solution. Can't imagine anyone doing it for less than a couple grand.

    Sorry for the bad news.

    running tape mode/drip feed

I experienced this about 10 years ago on a 10m.
I'm not quite sure if anything had to be changed initaially in the ladder
but i do know that we had to change a pc parammeter in the "keeprl"
that wouldchange our"memory switch" to tape. it worked with no problem.
Any service guy familiar with fanuc controls should be able to do it for nest to nothing
