hi all,
Newbie here and a simple overtravel on the z axis alarm has stumped me.

The CnC was sitting at home position, and i tried to auto home it, the 530 alarm went off. IDK how to reset the alarm or move the table/x-axis.

I"ve found that on the later model fanuc's, alarms can be reset by can+p, this doesn't seem to apply to the OM controller. any help is welcome.

To overcome my super uber noobishness, i'd like to find a Fanuc O-M manual. And read it cover to cover.
After spending hours searching for a Fanuc OM manual I'm finding nothing but frustration.
My machine is a "First MCV-641"

There is no other description. just FANUC OM.

Someone please help, i will be sure to pass it on.

hi all,

SUCCESS,

turns out the can+p works, it just took a lot longer for the controller to boot.

The error code wasn't flashing, so that brought me some hope.

I turned one knob to x100 and held the 2nd LS Remove button ( idk what that does, i heard some pump go on, so sounded promising)

while turning the manual dial in the (-) direction.

success.

Still in dire need of a FANUC O-M manual, can someone point me in the right direction plz.
