    Haas S5C indexer

We purchased a used Haas S5C indexer and when we set it up on the bench it seemed to work all right. But if we touched the cable from the Haas controller it would start and stop by itself, run at high speed or stop. Problem is with cable at indexer end. Took it apart to find wires between encoder and cable had been cut and only been tied not soldered. Some one must have replaced the motor or encoded and had a different connection. Any way when we took it apart it all fell apart, we don't know which wires went where.

The Haas Connector has 6 wires Red, Black, White with Orange stripe, White with Red stripe, White with Yellow stripe, White with Brown stripe.

Encoder has 8 wires, Black, White, Green, Orange, Red, Yellow, Blue, Brown.

Can anyone help us with how the wires should match up, What color to what color?

Encoder is marked Renco Encoders Inc. and motor is Haas part # 93-5102 Reliance Electric. This is a brush motor.

    Thanks
