I am afraid I made the blunder of a lifetime buying a machine with siemens control as the knowledge and support is absymal.....
fitted an automatic lubricator since the machine has a manual lubricator.
to get to the point, I want to activate the feature...
I connected the switch of the lubricator (lub low level ) to X012 input pin 8 and Pin 10 when switched on should display lubricant Low.
There are two other parameters involved.
14510 (24) which controls the lubricating interval and 14510 (25) which controls the duration I have put 5 for 24 and 25 for the 25. This should make the machine lubricate its pulse every 5 minutes and for some 2.5 seconds
However, nothing takes place when the switch is activated.
is there some other parameter to activate this? do the time intervals have any effect? because they do not have a bearing on this..
if someone reads this and can suggest where can this information be obtained please help.
