Hello, I'm new to this forum and I hope I'm posting in the right section. I've bought almost one month ago a KH 3020 CO2 laser on Amazon (one of those cheap laser cutters made in china). The laser itself works well, but every time I turn on the main power supply the laser head doesn't go in its "home" position but actually moves in a diagonal pattern toward the bottom/right corner (the zero should be in the top-left of the working area). Also, if you try to give it the reset command via software (laserDRW) it actually moves until the end of travel toward the bottom and the right corner (until it hits the wall). At first I was assuming that it could be travelling in the opposite direction due to a bad wiring on the stepper motors, but if you move the head via software it moves properly (albeit it always assume that the zero is wherever it stops after the wrong homing). The main board is an M2 nano and I'm using windows 8.1 to run the software, bit it doesn't go to its real home position even if there is no PC connected. I believe that the problem may be related to the parameters of the software I'm using. Has anyone of you experienced any problem like this in the past or has any suggestion?
Thanks in advance.
