Hi,
because my old pc crashed I had to buy a new one for my CNC. It's a Dell XPS420. Since it has no parallel port I also bought a parallel port card (from Logilink). I installed Mach3 and the card. The i/o range started from CCD0 so I set the port in Mach3 to 0xCCD0. So far everything went fine, but the software doesn't spin my steppers. The steppers are getting energy (they are strongly fixed at their current position) but I'm unable to rotate them. The operating system is a WindowsXP 32 Bit. The driver for the parallel port card does not allow me to set the mode to ECP or EPP but it's specified on the datasheet of the card. All pins are set correctly.
Any ideas?

The parallel port card does not seem to be compatible to Mach3. I got a new one from a friend and with it everything works fine.
