Hey guys I'm having a hell of a time trying to get Mach3 setup for my first router (chinese 3020T) and I'm not able to get Mach3 to display inches on the DRO. How do I go about this, I've been looking for a few hours on the internet and I can't seem to find a clear answer. I'm running XP for the system, I have movement on my motors, I just can't get the DRO to display inches. Anyone have an idea of what I'm doing wrong?

Set your native units to inches, and set your steps/unit values in Motor Tuning to be the correct value for steps/inch.

If the machine is set up in mm's, and you want to leave it that way, then a G20 in your g-code should display the proper values.

If your machine is set up in mm but you haven't loaded any Gcode yet, go to the MDI window and put a G20 in the box, then press Enter. The DROs will reset themselves to their inch equivalents.
