    mirroring toolpaths in NX7

Trying to mirror a toolpath in NX7. I just cannot remember how I did it about 4 years ago.

    Not sure what nx7 is.
Is this a tool path already written?(Gcode)
If so this can be mirrored be inverting Either the x, or y in your control software.

Or do you need to mirror before creating tool paths?

NX7 by UG is a cam software. There is G code but there is away to mirror all the tool paths for a part to make it cut a mirrored part.

Can you mirror it before you import it into the cam software?

Look for something like" translate / mirror" command in your drawing software,
or the cam software, before creating tool paths.

What CAD or modeling program are you using?

We are using Solid Edge for the modeling and using NX7 for the cam. It is being imported as an assembly with fixturing for are machine.

Right click on the operation and select object - transform. You can mirror through a plane or a line.

Thanks that is what I needed. Just do not have to do the mirroring much.
