    Modal Values

Is there a way to view the currently active modal values as a program executes? Thanks.

Also, how about the currently active feedrate?

The only thing I'm aware of is Tools>Show modal state. But this isn't dynamic.

I did ask Scott while ago if he could look at doing something.
For me it would be good to see a small window which gave active tool number, active h + d, speed and feed.
Basically the same as you see on the cnc screen.

    Thanks for that.

A simple work-around (if Scott is listening) would be a context sensitive menu (right mouse-click) with a REFRESH option . Just re-write, then display, the text file.

Though that would be only marginally cost effective over re-selecting Tools > Show. Just more intuitive.

This has been requested as barbter said, I just need to figure out a way to do this thats fast and doesn't require using a ton of memory. I was actually thinking of making this information part of the marker display information. So you would see the XYZ position as well as some other selectable modal information.

    Scott,
Go for that. It would be better as eyes are looking at the marker when plotting.
If it could be on a line below, and in a different colour, then it would be easier to focus ie white is geometrey, greeen is machine control state (or whatever).
