Hello everyone,
Please forgive me if this is a wrong category, but could not find any better one to discuss my "problem".
So, like 10+ yrs ago me and a friend of mine bought and used Mori Junior mill, to get some real working experience and learn to work on that. I think it made it's job and now the mill is just hanging there and consuming precious space in our tiny workshop, so I'm considering to tear it down to lighter components. Either way it needs to be disassembled a bit due to fit the door. I don't believe anyone would buy the whole machine, because it's simply outdated and it's too big for a home workshop. The question is that does it make sense to save some lighter key components like controller/spindle/drives and put them on a shelf (to eventually list it on ebay for a very fair price) or shall I just throw the whole machine to junkyard as it is? Don't want to make any business here, being an engineer simply makes me feel bad to throw away such a nice piece of technics.
Thanks for any opinion.
Peter
