A while back i picked up an nm-135 and i got to grips with teaching myself how to make things.

One by one steppers and drivers let out the smoke so i decided to bit the bullet and just replaced them and the control board. I got everything wired up yesterday and the x,y,and z axes are working flawlessly. The problem is that i can't get the spindle working. I have verified that pwm and direction signals are getting out to the spindle control board and it is getting fed 5 and 12v. I changed nothing in mach 3 other than assigning ports and pins appropriate for the controller.

I don't know how to diagnose what is going on here.

There are no identifying marks on the control board other than M&C. And the motor's label has been removed. I am 99% this is a brushless dc motor?

It was (the one thing) working fine previous to tearing into this

What do i have, how do i diagnose and what settings should be input into mach 3?

Thanks
