I realized this morning while researching something else that Camotics can work with more than just ball end and square end mills. It can use a few other cutters, but the one of interest here is a "conical." For practical purposes a conical and a V-bit are the same. The Camotics Plug-In does not appear pass on the v-bit data from CamBam. However, if after entering Camotics I redifne the tool as a conical and add its specifications I can regenerate the simulation, and it will produce a passable approximation.
I wonder how difficult it would be to pass that information on directly as it does with ball end and square end mills.
