routing melamine, what type of end mill?

I'm using a downcut end mill to cut 2 sided 3/4" melamine and have noticed that there is some chipping on the bottom surface of the material. Would I be better off with a compression or upcut end mill?

I have some compression spirals for sale in the tools, I’ve been routing 2 sided melamine, laminate and veneers with this type of tool for over 10 years and won't use anything else.
It’s a down sheer on top of the material and an upsheer at the bottom, how can you loose, I think we pay around $80 new.
Compare to maxlife 60-100 series on CR’s website
