    Switcher,
Thanks for posting some neat and useful Zip files. Would this one require "V Carve"?

Thanks and keep the neat files comming.

    Must mean "bare steel."
    Looks Great!

It's funny how that started out as a coloring book page.

I'll try & put some more files up here, this weekend.

That would probably be one of the easier programs to use, I'm sure others would work.

    Yes, I used Vcarve Trial.

I use 3 programs to generate the DXF files, in this order.

I use Vcarve for line thinning it works 100 times better than Wintopo thinning, that's the key to generate files from coloring books

    (In this order)
    1) Vcarve Trial
    2) MsPaint
    3) WinTopo Freeware

you may want to look at this thread , this guy is offering tutorials for the use of gmax and a bunch of other free softwares , ive been playing with this for the last 2 weeks and its pretty incredible what a guy can do with this stuff , well worth the 20 bucks for the tutorials , it takes a bit to wrap your head around it but it's excellent

    THANK YOU Switcher!!!

    Switcher,

Thank you for the DXF files, especially the valentine ones. I know my GF will enjoy the one that I made for her from one of your DXF files. I'll try to post a DXF this week but mine are no where near as good as the ones you make/post.

I made the kid a tinkerbell engraving but it didn't turn out very good because I'm not good at making/converting files.

Again thank you for your posts, they are appreciated.
