spindle running when plugged into computer

Hi I had to get a new computer and I've got everything downloaded for Planet CNC. But when I put usb in computer and turn on cnc machine the spindle automatically turns on. Any suggestions? I've tried researching with no results. If I turn on cnc machine without plugging into computer the spindle does not turn on so I'm assuming it is in the program. Thank you in advance.

The spindle turning on automatically when connecting to Planet CNC software suggests a misconfigured output or M-code in the startup script.https://doramasmp4.org.mx/ .You can use this website for more information.
Check the "Settings > Outputs" and any "Init" G-code or macros in the software for commands like M3 (spindle on) and remove or adjust as needed

Re: spindle running when plugged into computer

If the spindle starts automatically when you connect your computer to the CNC machine, it is likely a problem in the PlanetCNC software or controller settings. It is recommended to check the output pin configuration in PlanetCNC to confirm that the spindle control pin is not set to turn on at startup by default; also check whether the startup G-code contains the "M3" command; also check the spindle control options in the controller firmware settings to ensure that there is no configuration to force the spindle to start at startup. In addition, the USB connection may also cause electrical interference. It is recommended to replace the USB cable or add a magnetic ring. If the problem persists, try to temporarily disconnect the spindle control line to confirm whether the control signal is abnormal. It is also very important to configure the model file and parameters correctly.
