    Citizen F20 Over-Sized Collet System?

Does anyone know of a kit which would allow you to run 25mm material on an F20? I just recently purchased a 1984 F20 and have heard that there is such a kit but I havent been able to find it. I think that they share the same castings and everything. Would it be as simple as changing the spindle liners? Thanks.

    I doubt it.

If such a kit exsists, your local Citizen distributor should be able to help.
If they're reluctant or unsure, then I'd contact MCC New Jersey.
Someone there should be able and willing to assist you.

    Good luck!

If they are built from the same castings in the same way that an L25 is to an L32, it's an easy switch.

You'll need a collet closer and push tube, but the bigger expense is in replacing the rotary guide bushing unit to accept the larger diameter guide bushings. Also, there may or not be a way of increasing size of the sub-spindle, vut yu usually won't need to because it's common to be doing the pick off to a diameter smaller than the maximum stock size.

Call Citizen Machinery America and they can give you all the part numbers you need.
