    X2 Disassembly Question

I'm trying to disassemble the the x-axis and y-axis on an X2 milling machine and I have a question. I searched around and found everything but what I needed, so I'm desperate now. How do you remove the keys in the shafts just behind the hand wheels? I am also unsure about how to remove the thrust bearings because they are quite tight. It is not my machine, so I really don't want to ding anything up. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Use a screwdriver and tap on the end of the key at an angle, it will pop that end up out of the groove
so you can pull it with pliers.
Stick the leadscrew in a vise loosely ( don't grip the threads) and tap down on the end with a deadblow or soft mallet,
it's not a very tight fit actually.

Thanks a lot for the speedy response, Hoss! I sort of figured it would be that easy, but I didn't want to break another man's toy.
