0.75 and 1.00 inch shell mill arbors

This has been nagging me, so I thought I would post it up and see if anyone wants to run with it.

Why is no one making and selling 0.75 inch and 1.00 inch shell mill arbors from the Tormach tool blank they sell? I would buy them.

Why not buy a straight shank arbor (3/4x3/4" Shell Mill Arbor - Tool Holders - Toolholding & Workholding - Products and 3/4x1" Shell Mill Arbor - Tool Holders - Toolholding & Workholding - Products) and add a TTS ring (Tormach 32432)? You can probably find cheaper arbors on eBay but the Shars website was convenient.

I bought one and cut and turned it. It was a job on my 13x40 using carbide. After doing it I would just buy one that fit. Like most things here it depends if you are making money with this or not. It would have been way cheaper and easier to but the best fitting one but I had time. The arbor should be about the same price for most sizes I think and see no reason why there isn't one already.

You can get a 2 inch Shear Hog with a 3/4 inch shank. I made some collars with .003 press fit. I heat the collars and slide them to where I want them and cool it down. With .003 press fit there's no way it's going move.
You can buy GOOD PARTS or you can buy CHEAP PARTS, but you can't buy GOOD CHEAP PARTS.
