i thought this part would be fine in a circle, but the guy i'm doing it for really want's to keep it in an oval shape. is there a way to import it and keep it in an oval? he wants it to be 2"tall x 5" wide. i can scale the part but that's about it. Sorry and thanks for all the help

Does your software allow you to scale X and Y separately, if so just scale it to the dimensions you want.

once again thanks for all the help. that dxf worked great!! No i can not scale X and Y only both at the same time. dumb lol

When I run Mach 3 I can scale each axis independently. So I would just set Y axis to 20% and the X axis normal.

Not sure what you have in mind, but I would look here for some ideas.

Fancy > Initials fonts | dafont.com

They hav lots of fonts you can download for FREE. :idea:
