No, the g-code window is the standard Mach3 window, and that's how it works.
You can probably configure your CAM program to add line numbers to your g-code, so they'll be displayed at all times.

    Hi Gerry,
So I have the probing down now. Thanks!
When I'm doing a tool change Mach is crashing when I hit cycle start to resume. I just get the hour glass. Any idea?

Yes, you're probably using the lockdown version 3.43.022, which has nasty M6 macro bug.

It should work with the latest development version, but I personally prefer the old lockdown, 3.42.040.

Darn! I should have checked the version number. It's the latest lockdown. I had read about this error but I ASS-U-ME-d that it was an older version than the latest lock down.

Is there any way to revert to 3.42.040 and keep all of my mach config settings? - like, so I don't have to re-input the config manually?

You should be able to just run the installer without losing anything.
Back up your .xml file just in case.

Hi Gerry, do not forget to watch the following thread by Roman.
    http://www.cnczone.com/forums/open_s...onic_home.html
If you implement the backlash compensation described by Roman in his thread this will be a revolution in Mach world.

I've sent out what I think will be the last update. I had 3 or 4 emails bounce back, so if anyone didn't receive it, let me know.

The main update is to the probing wizard, which got a few new features.

Kyel Smith graciously donated two modified widescreen versions (1650 and 1920 wide) which are included in the update.

Thanks to everyone for their support, and spreading the word about the screenset!!

    Re: Mach3 2010 Screen set

    Hi Gerry,
I Purchased your 2010 screenset back in 2013 but never received any updates.
If there is any can you please send them to me?
Also have a problem now. I Had to go overseas for about 2 years now i'm back and started my CNC to see if everything is still working but no movement from the motors.
Looking at the DROs I get nothing. What could be wrong? The machine was working perfect before.

Are you going to add a feed rate DRO? I would be interested in purchasing the screen set if it had that feature.

It's on the bottom of the screen, and has been there for about 8 months.

    Hi Gerry
I have purchase your screen set and install it.
I was wondering if it would be much trouble to ad this feature, when someone moves the mouse pointer over the icons that there would be a pop up identification of that icon.
    Thank you

I second that. Somewhere on the Mach forum I think Brian showed how hints
    could be utilized.

Sorry, but there's no way to do it unless it's a Flash screen.

While zeroing my machine yesterday, I managed to get it to hit the Z limit switch a few times. The issue was a large Material Offset without enough clearance.

So I modified the auto zero macros so this can no longer happen.

I also discovered that I included the wrong 2010x.set file in the last update.

I just sent out the fixes in V1.1.2 a little while ago. Email me if you didn't get it or have any issues.

    Thanks.

You can't use that version of Mach3, as it has a bug with tool changes. You can either use the latest development version, or get an older version, like 3.42.020 or 3.42.040.

The 2010 screen only works at 1024x768, so on a larger monitor like yours, it won't fill the entire screen. It'll be a floating window that you can move around where you want it. It works perfectly fine like this, but it won't fill your entire screen.
