    Display Issues - please help

    Greetings,

Very annoying display issue - please help - popup windows (i.e. feature, measurement, equation, etc.) dissappear and will partially reappear somewhat at random in the workspace.

Alibre V10 SP2 (prof everything is up to date)

    Running:
    GeForce 8600GT
    Core 2 2.4Mhz
    2 Gig of Ram
    windows XP
-dell XPS w/ flat panel monitor

Updated all drivers - played with various settings as per alibre knowledge base - I know their are others with tha Nvidia 8600 GT cards having no issues
If anyone has experienced similar or knows of a solution pleasee let me know.

    Thanks,

Try a different video driver. You should be able to find a few here.

Also try turning off hardware acceleration.

If you call Alibre they will call you back within 24 Hours to help you resolve the issue. They are very good when it comes to customer satisfaction. You can also login on their site and ask Techs and the Gurus. There is a solution but I have no clue because Alibre is new at this end too.

Where did you update to SP2 from? I only see 1 on the website still?

Try clicking the maximize button [upper right-hand corner of window]; the window will shrink, then click it again to maximize the window.

Also, exit the tutorial window if you are not going to use it.

If your graphics card will run two monitors, put the tutorial window in the second monitor [mine is a 19-inch LCD in portrait orientation]. Then the part work space window can be maximized in your primary monitor [my primary monitor is NEC 32-inch .. better than going blind.. bi-focals were enough of a shock].

My graphics card [I got a new one to run the two monitors] has 256mg of memory and my work station [dell precision 530 ] now has 4GB of memory, all this helped a great deal as well.
