guys,
I'm not a Fadal expert and nether is our operator.
we have had numorous errors regarding the y axis fixture offset being centered to the a-axis. most recently, the offset has gone from y-.035 to now y+.026!! all other axes have been consistent.
as i'm not at the machine much, im having trouble figuring out what is going wrong. mechanical (only two bolts holding rotary) or control operation error or a problem with the machine (bad CS switch).
the operator claims to send the machine home at night and CS in the morn the same everyday.
the manual lists multiple coordinate systems, why?
1. machine coordinate sys
2. tooling coord sys
3. fixture offset
4. program coord.
is there a page where one can see, machine pos, absolute pos, distance to go etc.. like a normal mill????
