    reading modbus inputs

    Hey all,

i KNOW that I know how to do this, but for some reason, every time i try to sit & write my code, i am getting a massive block...

Basically, i'm writing an m-code for use as a "is an input active" to verify that it's "OK" to move my machine into place... running it through a modbus I/O setup.
I know that i could just map the modbus pin to my Input #_ in Ports & Pins, but would prefer to stay with a direct modbus read/write... as the machine could potentially need more inputs than I am allowed within P&P...

I just can't remember how to directly access my modbus inputs via the vb script that will be within my m-code. If someone could please shed the fog that seems to have lodged in my head over the weekend, i would really appreciate it!

    Thank you EVER so much!

    -Nate
