Hi,

I am getting the servo 013 alarm on a machine that I just had to replace all of the parameters in. I walked into this machine and it had the pulse coder cover off with obvious tool marks on it (someone prior had tried to get it moving with a channel lock). When the machine fires up the X axis jumps a little and the SV013 immediately registers. I usually get that alarm when material is in and the bushing is too tight, there is no material in this machine however. I've gone through the maintenance manual and tried the troubleshooting fixes there with no good results. Anyone have any ideas???

Well , The alarm Comes Fanuc alarm: SV013 - IMPROPER V-READY OFF , Velocity control ready signal (VRDY) turned off when position control ready signal (PRDY) is turned on. its a Typical Alarm The Axis Drive ,check Motor , Encoder feedback Cable Etc and Alarm on Drive .Is any other alarm also coming During this alarm ? when you press reset The alarm Continues or Off ? Please Confirm

I get other alarms in addition to the 013 when I turn it on (SV008 and OT120) but I figure these are because my parameters need a little tweaking. The 013 stays, even after a reset it pops back up. I have checked the motor brushes and also adjusted the gain on RvL1, still no success.
