    Homag Venture 2 CNC

    Hey guys!

    First off, I want to thank you for opening this thread, and I hope you'd be able to help me with my problem.

    I actually have zero knowledge when it comes to troubleshooting my own CNC(Homag Venture 2)

    Here is my problem, I'm getting errors such as:

    CNC Report: 70040: Error within drive could not be debugged by reset.
    ~70159: Error in digital drive cannot set back by reset.
    ~70024: Error in SERCOS drive. Check S-0-0011 and S-0-0095.
    And that just keeps on repeating even if you press "ok" or close it.

    TwinCAT RTIME Server
    The system responste time of 631 us exceeded the limit of 200 us! For further information open "Real Time Settings" in the TwinCAT context menu.
    = I opened it, but I saw that the actual is 5us and the maximum is 50us it stabilizes there.

    Any ideas? Thank you for your time, and sorry if I really suck at explaining.

    Hey guys,

    Still getting the errors, I tried changing the IndraCard(it was the previous problem that I've had) but nothing.

    I checked the Indramat's error at the display window, and it said:
    1 - E2810
    2 - F6042
    5 - bb

    I hope someone could atleast reply me with something.

    Hi Johzen,

    I just read your post... i am having the same problem as your second error: ~70024: Error in SERCOS drive. Check S-0-0011 and S-0-0095.

    Can you please let me know how you solved this problem??? your response would be highly appreciated.

    Did you manage to resolve error: ~70024: Error in SERCOS drive. Check S-0-0011 and S-0-0095.

    If so, how???

    I've already booked a technician but if I can fix it myself then I'll cancel that.

    Hi All,

    I am interested in how you had resolved the error.

    For us, the error was traced back through our IT system embedded server, to the ECODrive and then onto the SERCOS motor
    of the BHP200 CNC. The errors are documented within our Weeke manuals as indicating an under voltage error in a SERCOS
    drive, that results in the Homag frame clamping the motor and resetting power. The under voltage error is removed by replacing
    the 3.1V battery at the motor (i.e. this retains the absolute position sensor value).This was later confirmed by our service agent.

    If It is not the battery, it can also be caused by a short circuit between the motor and the ECO drive, or by deterioration in the signal
    cable between the motor and the ECO drive, sometimes corrected by added a 1000ohm capacitor in line to generate the required
    amps to charge the battery.
