Hello all,

Well I started don’t ask me when it’s going to be finished cause my job takes up most of my time then my wife takes up the rest LOL . Attached are a couple CAD pics and my pendent control with home made MPG knob.

The comments are more for the design of the mill this being my first attempt at building this sort of machine your input is worth a million.
Ill post more pics as i get allong

Now I just hope I can make sense of all this CNC stuff.

Hey thanks Gary nice of you to notice, im going to be adding pictures as I go along for everyones input.

Thanks for the comment, actualy the machining is done on a import half scale bridgport style mill not the gratest machine in the world but for home hobby its plenty, the catch here is living on the 8th floor of a high rise building the mill is at a friends place (kinda sucks really) oh well LOL.

Thats what my little shop looks like at home.

Keep going Marc!

I'd certainly try those motors. While they may not seem real strong, remember that the linear slide system is much lower friction than most of the CNC machines you see on these boards.

You can always upgrade them later if they're losing steps.
