Quick question. Do you have to adjust the slots on the 3d puzzles for the thickness of the material you are using? Common sense says yes.

Easiest way Skip is to resize the whole puzzle until the slots match your material.

Basically divide the slot size you want by the slot size you have to get the scale then use that as your scaling factor. (4 divided by 3 = 1.33333333) then scale by 1.3333333 (the reverse method also works for making things smaller)

Changing just the slots unless you know a bit about drawings and fit will mean some parts may not go together (they interfere with each other)

    best wishes

I thought that the reason to use slots was to use a bit that is the same size as the material. Wouldn't this eleminate having to scale the work.

    Hiya Chuck,

If the slots were centre lines that may work but once you move into 3 dimensions the relative fit between two parts is as critical as the fit from one part to another. Or picture it as thickness becomes a 3rd dimension.

    best wishes

Here is a small table you can pull in over the sofa, even in the corner if you want to do to the opening in the middle.
    Hope you like it.

Testing out the machine and software to find out how much you can do on it, and how many different letters and backgrounds one can make.
