    Testing without computer?

    Hi everyone,

Just want to say Thank You and God bless for looking at this post.

I acquired a MultiCAM Series 1000 (with handheld controller) and want to see if the gantry and other parts of the machine work. Everything is hooked up correctly (electrical) but has NO computer set up to it.

Is it possible to move/turn-on spindle/etc. through just the machine just using the handheld controller?

    Thank you,
    Craig

You should be able to perform all of those functions from the handheld. MultiCam does not require an external computer to operate.

Here is the handheld controller read-out. It is stuck on this screen and continues to say, "Loading MD4 Driver Module Version 1.44 Bus Voltage 43.1"Click image for larger version.
